Life insurance

What's the difference between term and whole life?

Term covers you for a set number of years at a lower starting cost. Whole life covers you for life and builds guaranteed cash value. Compare the types →

How much coverage do I need?

A common starting point is enough to replace your income for several years and pay off big debts. We'll work out a number that fits your family and budget.

Do I need a medical exam?

It depends on the policy and your health. Some policies require one and some don't.

Can I lose money in an indexed universal life policy?

Index losses aren't credited, but policy fees and charges still apply, so cash value can go down. Learn about IUL →

Retirement

What's the difference between a fixed and a fixed indexed annuity?

A fixed annuity pays a set rate for a set term. A fixed indexed annuity credits interest based on a market index, up to a cap, without index losses reducing your balance.

Can I take money out of an annuity early?

Most allow some free withdrawals each year. Taking more can mean surrender charges, and withdrawals before age 59½ may face a 10% IRS penalty.

Is an annuity right for everyone?

No. It depends on your age, savings and how much you'll need to access. That's what we look at on the call.

Careers

No. We'll walk you through licensing and training from the start. How licensing works →

Can I start part-time?

Yes. Many agents start part-time while keeping their current job.

What does it cost to get licensed?

It varies by state. It covers your course, exam, background check and appointment fees, and we'll give you the exact breakdown.
